Use Neighbourly to know your neighbours


Are you living in a new city or just shifted to a new place, don’t know anyone but still wants to connect with the local community. No worries you can contact a neighbour without sharing your number or location and ask you queries regarding your neighbourhood.  Its an app developed by Google, “Neighbourly” where you can ask any questions and you will get answers by your real neighbours. Just download the app from the play store and login with Gmail account. It will ask your location to verify your location that you are actually living at that place. It will add that as a neighbourhood. Now you will start seeing questions of others regarding common problems like does anyone knows an electrician, where is the nearby gym, where to visit for Chinese cuisine, etc.  You will see on the top right corner a button “Post”, click it and you will see different options. By default you can ask a question otherwise at the bottom you have other options like share local updates like you have some update regarding your locality then write at this column, it's like an announcement, Create a poll like you want to take votes on your opinion like which Chinese restaurant is better Yo China or China Town, Create an event like if you are holding an event in the locality and you then put a start date and time then end date and time, a description of the event and add the location to it, it will make easier for you to connect and inform others in your local community. If you know something then you can answer the questions which others are asking. It has reward system also and you are rewarded with a badge like helpful, speedy, trusted, curious, and topmost is the Top neighbour badge. You can add up to 3 neighbourhoods in your app. Let's say I live in Mumbai because of the job but I am from Delhi so I will keep 2 neighbourhoods. You can also search for anything related to your problem, maybe someone asked your same question which you are going to ask and in this way you will get the answer immediately as it was already answered. I am an official beta tester of this app and its working fine and Google is ready to listen to you so start using this app and give your valuable feedback. You can share this app with anyone who is in need of neighbours but not a social person.

Live my dream

Today, is a day of my 1st achievement, so a thought comes in my mind that I should write and let others know how a small dream looking like that it's getting true... Yes, I love to do acting and making short films with my friends. On this auspicious day, I won the 1st prize in a film festival held in a girl’s college ICG, Jaipur (IIS University). It was a good experience as I participated in such a festival first time in my life and God made me wins that competition. I think my luck is too good at times. I must tell u guys that I m not good at writing but my English is good enough to write. I always doubt myself, can I do it or not, or maybe every nerd like me think so. If u talk to me in English than my vocabulary is not that good but if I chat with someone they can`t believe that I am the Praveen Bhajanka who can`t even pronounce difficult words and he is writing like this.
